REFLECTIONS CALVARY Date: April 11, 2020Author: paddycummins 4 Comments Calvary As sorrow reigns their savour dies They took Him down in anguish cries Then all with Mary went in shock Placed Him safe beneath a rock. His killers paused in pensive thought Was this the end or something fraught With danger grave, a new onslaught To show the world Their errant thought. They killed the One without a sin The Healer sent all souls to win But did they quench the light of fire? That He had made our heart’s desire For now He knew with His last breath That He had won o’er sin and death. ********** Paddy Cummins Good Friday 2020. Share this:TwitterFacebookLike Loading...
