COCOONING
The daffodils have come and gone,
The roses still asleep,
But my Cocooning suffers on
As through the hedge I peep.
Just empty space and fear I see
Each wasted precious day.
No hug or smile to comfort me
From loved ones kept away.
They say to live I must comply,
But how do they know best
That life will be worth living,
Beyond this ‘House Arrest.’

Thanks Joan. A little ‘5-minute poem’
That captures our times perfectly! What will summer bring?
